I love the personality of the first one. :3 I like how she is interacting with the things around her and the apple cracked me up. I like the perspective of the second one better though. They are both so beautiful. I almost wouldn't have known they were by the same artist and that is very inspirational for other growing artists who want to change up their styles.
Well a lot can happen in four years xD. I drew in the big bug eye style from like 2007-2009, but I got bored with it. So much more facial expression potential when you have mouths and noses to work with haha.
Well I call it enthusiasm because you have to really want and strive for it. No one comes out of the womb ready to paint the Mona Lisa. It has to really be your passion. If it is, you practice nonstop and you develop it as a skill. Its not that some people have what it takes and other people don't, its that some people love it so much they are willing to push past the initial speed bumps when you first start out- when its really difficult and you don't know what to draw or what your style should be. I've never believed in talent- only commitment.
